Band Biography
From the origins in the southern states of the U.S., deeply rooted in Africa and crossing the European scene, theirs is an unique perspective of classic and contemporary Blues. For over two decades, Carlos Pereira and his mates have played in several European stages developing their own sound and were lucky enough to cross paths with B.B. King, Carey Bell and Eddie Clearwater as well as with a number of relevant European musicians. Having performed at the Blues Sur Seine Festival, the Breda Jazz Festival, the Festival Internacional de Blues de Castilla y Leon, the Ciclo de Ritmos y Blues en Aragon, the Ourense Blues Festival, the GaiaBlues Festival, the Santa Maria Blues Festival and in clubs and venues around Spain, Greece, France, Holland, Belgium and Germany, sets them as the most representative, experienced and international Blues band from Portugal.
They released their first, self-titled and well acclaimed record in 2005 and another one, Without You, in 2016. But the stage is definitely their natural habitat so expect the unexpected when you meet them live on the road!

2015 - Partnership with the talented Orlanda Guilande or the “Queen of Spades”, with whom Carlos Pereira performed in many performances and concerts in several European countries, in which the Portuguese-Mozambican acted as a guest. With African rhythms inside her soul Orlanda Guilande is a first-level vocal performer who, alongside Carlos Pereira, provided exciting and unforgettable musical moments.
